Hey All,

I have a question about My Elbert. Last night I noticed that one of his
eyes seemed to be bugging him. It looked like he was having problems
keeping it open, or he didn't want to keep it open. It looked like it was
watering a bit last night too. This morning, He is still wanting to close
his eye, but there is no watering and it doesn't look swollen or red. Any
ideas out there? What could be bugging him? I am watching it closely and
if it gets bad we will be off to the vet.

As for every one else they are all fine. Izzy who has adrenal disease is
doing pretty good. Her symptoms are progressing VERY slowly. We are
holding off on surgery until her symptoms get worse. We are trying to
fatten her up right now too. But she is a happy bouncy ferret. One thing
we are doing with her, much to her chagrin, is touch therapy. We pick her
up and love her and pet her. She is snuggly like a cactus and hates to be
held. But we try anyway. Kisses, hugs and claws all around.

Sammy, Hugo and Taos are all happy healthy ferrets. Sammy is a world class
lap ferret. Even if he is in full play mode and you pick him up he will
just hang out with you. I love it! Hugo's cataracts are growing and he is
obviously loosing his sight. He is much more nervous and hits more walls
when he gets excited. Poor thing, but it is making him more cuddly. He
feels safe and secure in our arms. And as for Taos, she is as big of a
pain in the butt as she ever was. She has a full on case of small ferret
syndrome. Has to prove herself by fighting and biting. I feel for the
other ferrets.

Well that is all here. Give all your ferrets big wet slobbery kisses they
really love it!
