The MAF has already funded an adrenal study. Most all the ferrets studied
were Marshall Farm (the study was being conducted out of the NY Animal
medical Center) and there were no clear conclusions.

I think adrenals will always be an issue. Remember that 7 year old MF
ferret I wrote about earlier this month? Well, I forgot she did have her
left adrenal removed about a year ago. Guess what! She has a swollen vulva
now and I'm NOT putting her through surgey again. Bob Church - what did
your research tell you about repeat adrenals or how long ferrets live if
they don't receive surgery? I've heard of ferrets living two years
completely naked and just hormonally hyped.
