That was so cute I thought I'd add my own.
 
You know you're addicted to ferrets when:
 
The last wardrobe update you did was a raincoat and sweater for your ferret
 
a new guy trying to spark up a conversation with you eventually walks away
knowing more about your ferret than you
 
buying snacks for yourself must be something your ferret also enjoys
 
you can't go to the grocery store without going down the pet aisle to see if
there's anythng new the *kid* might like
 
your friends bring over Xmas presents and they're for your ferret and not
you, and that's ok because "she'll love it"
 
you can't turn in for the evening without giving your ferret a kiss
goodnight
