I am very concerned about the fate of any ferrets in the path of the
horrendous tornadoes in Florida last night. If you know of any ferrets who
need evacuation or rescue as a result of the devastation, please advise. I
am in Tampa and have tried to contact Mike Janke and have heard nothing
back. I tried to find Chere McCoy, but have gotten no response there either
(they both may be busy). I can foster or transport or help organize. I
can't do much for the human survivors, but with the arcadia ferrets gone to
their new homes, I have room to care for abandoned babies.

Please let me know.
Best regards,
Paula Bryder

[Moderator's note: AOL email was down for a while today -- it would return
email saying "service unavailable" with no other explanation given. Took a
while to get a note through to Chere. BIG]
