Have not heard of this actually being researched yet, but do know that we
have had chocolate stolen from Steve on a few occasions with no bad results
and certainly there are folks here who have mentioned giving a touch as a
treat now and then.  That said there is one VERY IMPORTANT CAVEAT -- NEVER
LET A FERRET WITH HEART DISEASE GET CHOCOLATE.  (This is also true of
licorice or any other non-prescribed substance which affects heart rate,
rhythm or pressure.)
