Hi Folks,
Just got in a group of 6 new ferrets....all seem to be in fine health
(except needing spay/neuters) except for one. St. Nicholas is a DEW whole
male. He has lost some hair on the bottom half of his body (very un-adrenal
like), but new hair is coming in so I am not too worried. Anyway, he seems
to have a weezing, hacking cough. It has gradually gotten worse (got them
all last Saturday) and while we are all going into the vets on Monday, I
wondered if there is anything I could do for him?
He is currently caged by himself, I use woodstove pellets as litter (he
doesn't play in it regardless), feeding Iams Kitten/TF mix, has plenty of
water, all clean bedding (cotton sheets), etc. He doesn't act like it's a
cold so I was thinking it may be an allergy.
Any ideas are gratefully received!
