I have, more than once, asked my veterinarian this same question because my
Gizmo is on Prednisolone for Insulinoma and yet I often see Prednisone as
the treatment for Insulinoma.  Each time she answers me I forget the
technical/medical part of the response she gives me ;-), but the important
part is that they are basically the same.  She just prefers the Prednisolone
for ferrets.
