Pepper is my naughty MF silvermitt who ate a piece of puzzle New Year's Eve
and ended up having surgery. When she opened him up, she found no blockage
but an enlarged and hard right adrenal and an odd piece of stuff attached to
his intestine that the vet didn't know what it was.

The lab results (finally) came in. The weird piece of stuff was "necrotic
fat" (dead fat??? Hmmm) and the adrenal showed adrenal disease but NO
CANCER! Yeahhhh!!!! So maybe, on a twist of fate, my silver sweetie was
spared cancer. Whew.

He recovered so quickly it was amazing. My husband agrees -- we think he's
even MORE bouncy than before the surgery. He must have been feeling bad and
slowed down a little, but he's such a nut I never noticed. BOY is he bouncy
now! He jumps over the gate, runs around out there, and jumps back over the
gate 6 or 7 times over course of their play time. And it usually takes him
between 1-10 tries before he gets over this side of the gate.

Thought for the day:
If "boring women have immaculate homes," I must be very interesting!
