Hello Sheila,
Champ when he does "poof" it is most times in his sleep.  He has only poofed
one time that I know of when he has been awake and that's when we first got
him.  Him & Ferrethead got into a ferret brawl.  I am still undecided about
the descenting however if I do decide to have this done it will be done on
Wed.  January 28th.  I made Champ an appointment just in case we do decide
to have it done.  I don't think his feces smells any different than the rest
if it smells at all.  However the urine has a tendency to smell from time to
time.  What do you mean by cosmetic reasons?  I have a 3 year old w/ serious
respiratory problems and if Champ is going to be poofing on a regular basis
then the descenting needs to be done.....He hasn't been poofing as much as
he was the other day but has been doing it on a daily basis.  I need to
think of the health of my son and well being of Champ as I do not want to
get rid of him.  He is a great ferret w/ one of the best personalities I've
ever seen.
