It's time once again to remind everyone of the eight Ferret Medical FAQs,
which contain information about the most common ferret diseases. You can
get a copy of any of these from the locations in my signature, or email me
directly and I'll be glad to send one along.
Insulinoma FAQ - low blood sugar, lethargy
Splenomegaly FAQ - enlarged spleens, whether or not they need surgery
Adrenal Disease FAQ - hair loss, weight loss, itching, thirst
Helicobacter/Gastric Ulcer FAQ - tarry stool, nausea, pawing at the mouth
Cardiomyopathy FAQ - (heart disease) hacking, water retention, lethargy
Skin Tumor FAQ - (mast cell and others) raised lumps, sores that won't heal
Lymphoma FAQ - lymphatic system cancer, adult and juvenile
ECE FAQ - "green diarrhea virus"
I hope you don't need any of these, but if you do, I hope you find them
useful.
