I have been reading the FML for three years, and have only posted one or two
times. My name is Toni and I am owned by four ferrets: Zoe and Izzy, two
female silver mitts; Riley, female albino; and Holly, a panda (I think). I
got my first two ferrets as soon as they became legal to own in Michigan; I
knew absolutely nothing about ferrets at the time. I was so happy to find
the FML because most of what I have learned about ferrets has come from
either the FML or contacts I have made through this wonderful list. At
Christmas-time my Riley became ill; I am very grateful to Gary H. and
Troy-Lynn for all their help and moral support. Riley is doing better now,
although she has a way to go.

Anyway, the reason I am posting today is because I have a son who is taking
a Genetics class. We were talking about albinos; I am sure that somewhere
along the line I read some posts here about breeding albinos. Am I
mistaken, or have breeders said that breeding two albinos does not result in
a full litter of albinos? If any of you out there have any information for
me, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks.........Toni
