I do want to thank all of those who have responded to my last message about
Sammy's operation. He is more active then he has been for a while but I
still can find no complete proof that he is eating solid food. I didn't
want to separate him and Doris because they are so attached to each other
but I will probably separate them tomorrow for 8 hours or so just to make
sure that Sammy is eating real food. I have started feeding him a special
soft cat food that the vet gave me for just such a purpose. I have to feed
him by hand but I had hoped that he would start eating TF again on his own
fairly soon.

Anyway, my technical mistake that I made was that I was wrong about what the
doctor accidentally took out. Thanks to your responses to my post I went
back and checked the records and found that it was NOT a thyroid gland. It
WAS a Lymph node. I am sorry for that mistake. It does make a lot of
difference that it wasn't the thyroid. Thanks for your concern and please
forgive my technical mistake.

P.S. I would very much like to get back in contact with the people in
Rexburg, ID that I was e-mailing. If you didn't see my original post, my
computer crashed and I lost most of my addresses. Thanks.
