To all breeders;
Please stop breeding more ferrets.  At least until the over-population
crisis is not as critical as it is.  Are you aware of what happens to these
little innocents?  Without education on what ferrets are all about, people
are buying adorable kits (why wouldn't they when they do not know any
better) and then because the kits are not cats or dogs, they suffer
unbelievable consequences.  They are mistreated, tortured, abused,
neglected, injured and killed in so many ways it is truly unbelievable.  I
understand that there was a waiting list several years ago for people to buy
ferrets.  Now, the shelters, rescue operations, foster homes are burgeoning
with numbers of unwanted homeless ferrets.
 
The answer is for the ferrets to stop being bred. There is no other answer.
Please go into another line of animal sales.
Please stop the suffering.
