I've received much mail today about a couple of posts in recent FMLs.  Most
people commented that Ed Lipinski's posts were insulting to the Killians and
that his "whistle" post was racist joke disguised as a ferret-related post.
Any email sent to the list about this that's "printable" is at the end of
this issue.  Some wasn't printable.
 
The posts were close calls, but I let them through.  I tend to be pretty
liberal about letting stuff through, but perhaps I should have been stricter
here.  I've asked Ed to be a little more careful in the future, and, of
course, I will be more careful as well.
 
I'd like to apologize to anyone who felt the posts had no place here and to
the Killians who were the target of some of this.  And no, they didn't ask
me to say this :-)
