If anyone knows of a good ferret-knowledgable veterinarian in the Houston,
Texas area (preferably the southwest side), please let me know. I live in a
developing area roughly an hour from Houston, and none of the vets here know
anything about ferrets. The one time my fuzzy baby was sick, nearly a year
ago now, the vet I've used for my cats for 20 years simply wanted to put him
down, having done no tests or research into his problem. Fortunately I was
able to nurse him through the illness myself and he is fine now, but I am
concerned about what I would do if he should fall ill again. I'd like to
meet and develop some confidence with a vet now, while he is healthy.

Thnaks,
Cheri and Chad, who HATES his nice big new cage :(
