Bandit, our 6 year old female sable, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge last
night. When I got home from work yesterday, I discovered that she was sick.
She was awake, but terrebly congested and un-responsive. We rush her to the
emergency clinic. The Vet there didn't really know much about ferrets, but
she gave Bandit fluids under the skin, antibotics, and steriods hoping that
this would help Bandit hang on until our regular Vet got back to town today.
I brought Bandit home and kept her warm and tried to get her to eat and
drink, but she never showed any improvement.

Bandit was our first ferret, and she ruled the roost. Bandit loved to fly,
and was the smartest ferret that I ever met.

We all loved here so, and will miss her.

PS -- Crystal and Chewy(our other two ferrets) are doing fine.
