I was in the grocery store the other day when I noticed a brand of litter I
had never seen before called "Harmony." It was very generic looking in a
pink package with a not so good drawing of a cat on the front. I normally
use rabbit food or newspaper litter for my ferrets, so I normally don't
spend to long in this section, but I realized the cats were out of litter
too so I picked up the package cause it was on sale. It said it was made
out of plant fibers, and was dustless, perfume free and clay free. My
interest was peaked since the bag was only $1.50, so I bought it. This is
the best litter I've used, I'll probably never go back. It really absorbs
odors, and doesn't let off a worse odor like the rabbit food does. Or not
do anything, like the expensive newspaper or corn cob litters I've tried.
It's very odd looking, little brown and green pellets, but they are great.
My ferrets didn't even try to dig this stuff out of the box like they always
did the other litters. Anyways, I'm not sure how readily available this
litter is, as this store only had 3 bags of it (i really hope they aren't
discontinuing it) and I've never seen it at the other stores in town, but if
you can find it you should try it. I started using it in my cat box too. I
can actually walk into my bathroom and not turn my nose up. Oh, and its
completely flushable, which is great in my opinion. I know I sound like a
commercial but i'm honestly really impressed! Anyways, take care and keep
dooking!
