A post appeared on the alt.pets.ferrets newsgroup today mentioning that
this past weekend the show "Wild Rescue" on the Animal Planet cable channel
did a segement stating ferrets were *wild animals with a record of
attacking small children*!!  Did anyone else see this?  It was recommended
that an email be sent to the Discovery Channel (who owns Animal Planet)
demanding an explanation.  This is third-hand by now (unless someone on the
FML can verify), but I still think it's important to act on it.  Their
