i just got my ferret 4 weeks ago.  when i purchased her, she was 4-5 months
old.  she came with no prior shots.  on 3/4, my friend, who works at a pet
store, gave my ferret a fervac shot.  she is not a vet.  i just want to know
if how she gave the shot was correct- she gave her a shot in the fatty part
of her neck(the scruff).  she didn't put the needle in really far.  my
ferret didn't have any reaction to the shot- either physically or
personality wise.
 
also, how long is it till her next shot, and what shot does she get next.  i
am planning on taking her to a vet for the rest of the shots b/c my friend
can not get them from work.
 
if someone can please tell me if this shot was done correctly and what
should i do next regarding future shots.
