Susan:  About your guy marking everything,  Why don't you just get him neutered?
He may still try to mark things (Nash does) but there won't be any slimy mess.
He'll just be going through the motions.  Whenever we bring something new into
the house (shoes, books, etc), Nash claims it by "marking" it although nothing
ever comes out.  Thank goodness he doesn't pee on it like a dog!
