After about six months self imposed exile, I am coming back.  During my
exile I have peeked at a few issues and heard about thing through the net.
Then the other day I peeked at an issue where someone is saying BIG
requested that we all grow up and be happy and live ferret playing lives and
get on with reality.  Good going BIG.  I miss the list, don't always have
time to read it, spend a lot of catch up time and have over year's worth of
issues saved on disc to someday format into printable pages and print to
place in the shelter.
 
I run a shelter.  I do not live eat breath and dream ferrets.  I had a child
for that.  I do not love my ferrets more than my other pets (except for
maybe Calvin, and maybe Penny and maybe...oh well).  I could do a lot more
for ferrets if I dedicated my life only to them.  I could make lots more
money if I dedicated my life to only working and not ever enjoying life.
Ferrets are a part of my life and I'm glad to have the FML back as one of my
news and entertainment and social sources.
 
Thank you to everyone who is glad I'm back even though you didn't know I was
gone (kept my exile to myself as I will keep the flamer who caused it to
myself).  And to any one who doesn't care, oh well, I'm sure you have your
own life too.
 
I raise my drink and give a cheer to a year of ferret dooking and dancing to
each of our own drummers.
