We plan to have several speakers.  Dr. Larry Snyder, University Small Animal
Clinic, is our guest speaker (12:30).  Julie Thornton of Kansas Ferret
Association and Troy Lynn Eckart of Ferret Family Services will also be
speaking.
 
There will be a drawing for a door prize and ferret photo contest for the
most mischievous, most energetic, and cutest ferret so bring your ferret

If you are unable to join us on October 26th, the November 9th meeting will
be held at the Douglas Co 4-H Fairgrounds in Lawrence from 2-6 (info: Julie

will be held in Salina at 251 N.  10th, from 11-3 (info: Janice (785)
738-4060, email: [log in to unmask]).
 
These meetings are open to everyone that is interested in learning more
about domestic ferrets and their welfare in Kansas.  Due to Kansas laws and
meeting locations, ferrets are not permitted at these meetings.  :-(
