Just a quick note.  Had a chat with the WSU vet tonight -- very kind soul
who truly loves ferrets -- and more of Jean's ferrets have been stabilized
well enough to return home.  Two are still there (Mighty Mouse and another
one whose name I forget but he speaks of them lovingly by their names), but
they are looking better today than they have so far, and while they still
aren't out of the woods by a long shot he has now has the opportunity to
allow himself to think that they have a reasonable chance to survive.
(Basically, there is now hope for those two very sick ones.)  He can't talk
much about the cases, since he'll have to provide evidence, of course.  He
said he has heard from several reporters in the last few days, BTW.
