Hi FMLers! My first time posting!

Last Thursday my little Buddy wouldn't eat. I had noticed he had been
eating less lately. Bud is less than a year old. I took him to the vet and
they decided to keep him overnight.:( Two days later he was still there and
facing surgery. I held him before the surgery and he looked so weak and
pitiful, it was hard to keep away the tears. The vet wasn't sure exactly
what was wrong but had some suspicions of an obstruction. In surgery they
found a hairball and soreness in his bowel where the hairball was. My vet
is really good to me by calling me up different times of the day and
reporting Buddy's condition. Right now it is looking better. Buddy is on
Nutracal and antibiotics. He is more alert and I get to go see him
tommorro! I won't get to bring him home though yet. If this is what it
really was then I will have to dose both my ferrets with the hairball stuff
2 or 3 times a week now as I before only once a week.
