I had a similar emegency with Ditto (my little male kit). He plays around
the bed and under the covers..... At the time of my usual 10 minute check on
them I saw his collar on the floor next to the bed. His collar doesn't
easily come off over his head. When I bent down to look under the bed,
Ditto was hanging by his head between the box springs and the bed frame.
His little body was totally limp! I unlodged him; he had saliva and foam
all over his head. I thought he was gone -- but he started wiggling, opened
his eyes, but they were glazed over and stayed that way for a few minutes,
until he finally looked around as if to say ' hey what's all the commotion?'
He was breathing, but a bit in shock. I called the vet's office right away
to be sure that he was fine, and he was - with no injuries. Very lucky I
found him when I did. No more unattended bedroom playtime for them.

p.s. Karen, I hope Tabitha turns up safe & sound, and sassy....
