Hi all, I hope this helps. But please keep clear heads when writing. I
will try to get more addresses. Does anyone have an addy for Rhone-Merieux
and let them know that the state of California is denying their product and
issue a cease & desist (sp) order or a suit will follow. Also Publicly in
Papers state they were wrong and make a public apology over the TV on
primetime, so everyone will see it - not just the nightowls and earlybirds.
Sheba and the Outlaw Dooksters
>Dear Sheba;
>
>I have been informed that these are the people who decided Rocky must die:
>
>Dr. Jackie Estey
>Dr. Louise Gresham
>Dr. Michelle Ginsberg
>Dr. Robert Ross
>
>These people are with the San Diego Department of Health and Human Services.
>Their address is PO Box 85222, San Diego, CA 92186. The phone number is
>(619) 515-6620. The fax number is (619) 515- 6644. Dr Robert Ross is the
>head of the Department.
>
>Also in on the decision is Dr Mark Starr at the California Department of
>Health Services in Sacramento.
>
>Rocky had to die "because there is no rabies vaccine approved for ferrets."
>The National rabies compendium on rabies was not used, but a California
>compendium on rabies mandates that ferrets be killed unless the bite victim
>undregoes rabies propholaxis.
>
>When I asked about this new policy ensuring that no ferrets will now be
>turned for quarantine they said "that was a concern." Obviously, not much of
>a concern though.
>
>I would like this information distributed as widely as possible.
>
>Thank you,
>
