Hello all,
 
Maurice got out very early on New Year's Eve (around 1 am) in Lafayette, IN,
in the vicinity of Columbian Park Zoo... He is a 2 year old light chocolate
(maybe cinnamon) with silver markings on his head... He was last seen
dashing happily down the hall with a treat in his mouth, but we suspect that
he snuck out when we made a trip to the garbage.... we have serached inside
the house *very* thouroughly, to no avail, and the other woozles have been
looking for him as well... so we know he has most likely gone on an
adventure.... if anyone hears of a found ferret in this area, please let me
know my number is 765-448-3169 (call anytime).  I am worried that someone
may have taken him out of the area... we have put up over 100 flyers, I went
door-to-door the day he got out, we've called all local vets, shelters and
police, and we have tried using the dog and the other ferrets to look for
him.  I now have a have-a- heart trap set outside our back door... just in
case...sigh... but I don't hink he is coming home... your support and
suggestions are welcome...
