"LOVE WITH FEET"
by Carin Riley

"What is that?", you smugly ask.
And now I clearly see my task.
To tell you all of this before
One hundred words. Well, maybe more.

I can e er firmly tell you that
It most certainly is not a rat.
And all the family Mustelidae
Would suffer to be snubbed that way.

A "fur thief" it s been aptly named
And has longer than your cat been tamed.
It will laugh and roll and buck and prance
And have you ever seen a ferret dance?

All of this and more is said
About this furry quadruped.
So "what is that?" I now repeat
This fuzzy "that" is "love with feet".
