I have been reading, with interest, the comments on UV lighting for our
fuzzies, and the potential for healthier fuzzy's.

Gang...having been dictated to, by a large and old, 6 foot iguana named IGGY
(Original name...6 year old daughters are not very imaginative!) I learned
early on that all these 'natural' light tubes from Zoo Med, Vitalite, etc.
are a waste of money!

Find a listing in your yellow pages for a light specialist store..that is, a
store that sells nothing but devices that light up (GRIN)...here in Reno,
its name is Mr. Bulbman. I guarantee that that store sells natural light
florescent (sp) tubes, in all sizes, at 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of the pet store
specialty lamps. (My two 36" tubes cost me 12 bucks for both.) And...you
get a much better full spectrum light as well. These tubes are available in
a variety of color temps with a wide range of UV percentages. Find the one
that fits your needs.

Also..be aware that any of these UV/full spectrum lights that are used for
the specific color temp/UV content. are only good for a year. I change
mine every 6 months.
