hello from a new member. Let me introduce myself: my name is Tiana, I am in
college in PA right now, and I have 3 wonderful light-of-my life fuzzies who
are unfortunately banned from my dorm room and are living with my boyfriend
back in Massachusetts. :( but he does take good care of them!

On to the subject at hand: in Tuesday's post, someone was recommending
Advantage and Frontline. My little girl, Calixta, has been with me since
last Christmas, but we got our two boys Taz and Scotch from a shelter last
August (4 Li'l Paws in Merrimack, NH -- they are the nicest people!!!:) ),
and when we brought them home, all three were suddenly inundated with fleas,
because my boyfriend's cat had just ran away ( :-( ) and the fleas were
still in the house. The boys had been treated with Frontline at the
shelter, but it didn't keep them from getting infested. I have heard
wonderful things about advantage, but i am concerned that it is not approved
for use on ferrets. I have since gotten the flea situation under control
with flea foam and house spray, but I am worried that it might occur again.
Does anybody have any experience with either of these products on ferrets
that might ease my mind about using them?

thanks a bunch.
*T.
Taz <you got any food?>
Scotch <huh?>
Calixta <you know i'm royalty, how dare you let these fleas get near
me!!!>
