I just wanted to add comments to the baseboard heaters info.  This seems to
be a personality based issue.  My apartement has baseboard hot water
heating.  Loki used to like to try to get under the register in the bathroom
when he was still a kit and could fit.  Cricket never cared about the space
at all.  Percival is just too darn big to even consider getting under
there...:) Zoe, though, is the biggest problem.  She actually likes it under
there.  I can't recall is she did this as much during the last winter as she
has been doing this summer.  She's found some places she can't normally get
to by cralwing under the registers (namely under bookcases and the like,
which make smy life absolutely wonderful when I am looking to put everyone
to bed.  The irritating thing is she can get herself under there by using
the register, but then seems to forget how she did it and then get stuck.  I
just hope she tones it down by winter again, because the heat registers in
my apartment can get pretty hot....
 
Just wanted to comment that some fuzzies DO like crawling under those
registers and it will depend on their personality and how much they feel the
need to terrorise their new people...;)
