Simce everyone else as given their two cents, here's mine:
 
        ALL ferrets bite!
 
Well, um, duh!  How else do you think they eat and carry things around?!:)
 
I am still kind of a newbie but my ferrets ( who are 2 years old)(I adopted
them) have NEVER bitten a person!  My female Sam does hunt my dog but Gizmo
(according to his previous owner) has NEVER biten a person.
 
Well that's it.  My two cents.
