Orange Ferrets

I hope someone can help me.  Two of my shelter ferrets are turning orange.
Pumpkin orange.  One is an albino but the other had a cream undercoat which
is now bright orange.  Someone told me that the food they eat can effect fur
colour.  They are on Iams Kitten - I can't afford Totally Ferret which was
recommended.  Is there an acceptable kitten food that will not change their
fur colour?
