CMM reported Saturday Morning:
 
Georgia Power reported unusual power demands early Saturday morning. *
 
Georgia's water companies reported record demand early Saturday Morning. +
 
The Georgia Higway Patrol reported traffic congestion early Saturday Morning
in the vicinity of Cumming.
 
Col. Smith of the National Guard went on Local TV and radio stations at
10:00am to report. " After many reports of 100's of small creatures seen in
cars throughout Georgia.  We activated the National Guard to investigate.
We can now report that the public is safe, we have identified what is
happening.  The Georgia Domestic Ferret Association is having a ferret
festival in Cumming." Col. Smith added, "We have deactivated all National
Guard units, except for the 256 MP Company, we are using them for traffic
control in Cumming."
