I'm not a vet.  That understood, the swollen glands are likely the lymph
glands.  The swelling could be an infection or the beginnings of
lymphosarcoma.  In either case, it would be a good idea to take the ferret
to see the vet fairly soon.
 
If it's an infection, some antibiotics, might help.  If it's lymphosarcoma,
a very ferret knowledgeable vet might recommend chemo therapy which seems to
be fairly effective if started early enough.
