As a first year ferret owner I woke up the other day to find I'd lost my two
chocolate males and traded them for black sables and one of them is FAT!
He's so fat that I had to hold the dryer tubing for him to push into it. He
used to look like a pear but now he looks like a squash.
I want to quantify this but have having no success trying to find a scale to
weigh them with. I've tried Sports Authority, Office Max, Stop&Shop,
Caldors, and Bradlees. All I want is a cheap, simple scale that will weigh
up to ten or twenty pounds. The only success I had was an expesnive
electronic scale that weighs up to 50lbs in the Sports Authority fishing
dept.
What store do I have to go to and what department is it in?

[Moderator's note: One place I've dealt with that has a good selection
of scales is http://www.scalenet.com
Many of the products are overkill, but a few less expensive models are
there too. BIG]
