I have an 8 yr. F/S silver mit female.  Her name is Ermatude.  (She looks
like an ermine but has a ferret attitude:)  Her saddle of silver is fading,
she almost looks like an albino, and her OD (right eye) has a glazed over
look almost as if she has cataracs.  I got her from the shelter in
Milwaukee, You who know Nancy would recognize her as Joanie.  She is a home
grown ferret, no tattoos from MF.  She has always been my little lover.  But
lately when I pick her up, she'll lick the area between my thumb and fore
finger.  If I am not careful she'll latch on with her canines.  She will
then proceed to continue biting, releasing and regrabbing.  I tried the
bitter apple.  But Erma just ignores it.  Has my baby become a Vampire?
(Sorry this is such dry reading.  I just got out of my Vet. Med. Term
class where we wrote signalments for an hour and a half.:(
