Hello,
On the ferret mailing list the other day, someone posted something about pet
stores. You are not alone. At a pet store by me in Frederick, they have
ferrets, but they dont keep them too well. They dont clean the poop in the
corners for days and it builds up and flys irritate the ferrets alot. They
rarely have any toys, and there food is always dumped and hard to find in
all of the grey cardboardish fluffy stuff that they put in there. I am not
sure but i dont know if the grey stuff is good for them if swallowed. Plus,
once and a while they will ahve a sign that says they bite. Well ferrets
will bite more if they are shuved in a glass aquarium with 1-2 other
litters. Although its a semi big aquarium, its just not like home when
there is ppop pileing up in the cornors and no toys to play with. : - (
