I've solved it!  I win the Christmas Tree War!  I gave up and had no tree
last year or the year before, but this year, by Jove, I'VE GOT IT!!!
 
I got a Bonsai Tree!
 
This solves *two* dilemmas: (1) Christmas tree + ferrets = disaster; and
(2) I've always wanted a bonsai but could never justify the expense.
 
Now I get to have a cool tree on my table all year, and I can have a
Christmas tree with tiny ornaments!
 
Now I'm in the holiday spirit!
