Not at all.  I was responding to a poster who did not have a lot of room to
store her food in refrigerated space.  Refrigeration, and freezing is done
by many after they seal the food in airtight storage bags.  Given your
humidity rates and high temperatures in FL I would recommend refrigeration
as well.  Forgive me for not addressing that in my earlier post-- being up
here in the northeast sometimes I forget about you sun - baked individuals!
