First of all THEY'RE HERE, THEY'RE HERE, THEY'RE HERE!!! Our beautiful
twins are finally here:) My husband posted several days ago announcing our
soon to be two new additions to our ferret family. Guenther and Gaela came
home yesterday evening. They have been very well accepted by our residing
family of five. We were concerned that our female (our first, and only
girl) might be jealous of a new sister, but Natasha has been amazingly
gentle. They are about 8 1/2 weeks old and are just SOOOOOOOOO cute!!

Second,in response to yesterday's post by Adrienne about Granick's Bitter
Apple for Ferrets, we have jsut switched over from the dog version. We love
the new stuff. The dog version contains 20% isopropanol (this is the
ingredient that can be dangerous to ferrets). The ferret ( and small animal
btw) version both have only 5% isopropanol. It is still a strong deterrent
but we feel much better about using it. With 4 ferrets 6 months or under it
does come in handy:)

Lastly we are getting worried about Nikolai (#5). He is about 13 1/2 weeks
old now. We got him when he was around 8 weeks. Ever since we brought him
home Niki has periodically been taken with SEVERE sneezing fits.
Immediately following these fits Niki will throw up. Note: If we pat him on
the back he seems to come out of the sneezing fit quicker. And if we hold
his little paws above his head he will not throw up. Other than this
bizzare habit Niki is the healthiest, most active little kit you could
immagine. In fact, he is more than just a little bit of a spaz. He eats
great, poops great, and is growing like a weed. We have a vet appointment
for next week but any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer. Hugs, kisses and dooks to
all the fuzzies,

Tara , Chris, and their furry family
