Hello I'm new to the group and to ferrets.  I've been reading up on them for
about 6 months and just yesterday I picked up my new ferrets from a local
shelter..ok not real local but only about 3 1/2 hours away.Their names are
derver and gypsy.  I have a question about treats for them.  I have been
giving them grapes as rewards for using the litter box and such.  When I say
grapes it more like the juice from the grape..I'm still on my first grape.
I just put a little bit of the juice and maybe a tiny piece of grape on my
finger and let them lick it off.  They both seem to love it .  Are grapes an
ok treat and what do you suggest as treats ?  I'm preety sure they don't
digest grapes but will that tiny bit bother them ?
