Ferret Distress Emergency

My name is Ginger, and I have a serious problem with my little guy "Bear".
He is almost four years old and has recently contracted his second bought
with pneumonia. This time, however, he has a very runny green and slimy
diarrhea. He has lost almost 2 pounds because of it. Bear has been on
antibiotics for three weeks for his pneumonia, but the diarrhea is still the
same. The vet and I are at a loss as to what to do next. He has been
hospitalized for over eight days. I finally have brought him home because
his pneumonia is cleared up and he can't be on antibiotics any longer. Can
anyone help me???? Has anyone heard of this kind of diarrhea before???? I
really can use some suggestions and timing is critical because the vet
thinks he will die if he continues to lose weight due to the diarrhea.
Nothing is helping Bear, not antibiotics nor Kaopectaid.

Please help my baby!! (I can't loose Bear!!!!) [log in to unmask]
