While I think that a page about bad biters might be a big help to people who
are going through this problem, I do have one major concern about such a
page.

As most of us are aware, ferrets have a horrible reputation to some people.
I can just see the California DFG getting their grubby paws on a page about
"bad biters"...they'd have a field day and use it to prove that ferrets are
mean and vicious. It is such a shame that putting helpful and useful
information on the internet could damage the ferret's reputation even more
than it has already, unrightfully, been. However, if you do proceed with
such a page I urge you to do it very, very carefully.

If you do decide to solely base the page about biting problems, you'll have
to mention every other sentence practically that ferrets are not vicious.
You'll have to mention a thousand times the reasons why ferrets bite, and
liken it to puppies that need to be nip trained.

I would actually urge to you change the focus of your page to something more
lighthearted, like "Your Problem Ferret" and make it kind of a joke, with
serious help found within. For instance, include pages of the page that
include help not just with biters but also ferrets that won't get along,
ferrets that don't get the concept of litter box, ferrets that dump their
food, etc., etc. This will take the focus off of the biting portion of the
page...

I hope that I am not being negative about your idea. I think that it is a
*fabulous* idea, if only the rest of the world weren't so negative about
ferrets. I am also sure, as I've read your posts, that you would never want
to do anything that could damage the image of the ferret.

Anyone else agree/disagree with me? Love to hear your thoughts...
