Well, I now have two ferrets.  My daughters friend had a ferret that they
were keeping in the backyard.  The mother said it smelled and couldn't stay
in the house.  Of course she smelled because they werent cleaning her cage!
I told them that it was dangerous to keep Nadine out in 100 degree weather
and in the rain.  Now I have her.  when I got her the whole tray at bottom
of cage was full of water!  and the ferret was underweight and full of
fleas.  They were feeding her cheap cat food when they fed her.  I can't
believe how uncaring people can be towards animals!  Now Nadine is flealess
and is eating ferret food and occasional snacks.  Her and Podo get along
great.
