I am taking this opportunity to let the suscribers know that I am very
grateful that some people devote so much time and effort to run shelters and
clubs, web sites or mailing lists & educate other owners about ferrets!

I was very lucky to discover ferrets, while attending a workshop on offered
by The Ottawa Ferret Society, in the autumn of 1992 at the Canadian Museum
of Nature.  I was even luckier that, one of the shelter coordinators,
visited our appartment to check the ferret-proofing and answered my
questions (she still does).
