There's probably someone (fom Mass.?) who's far more informed than I
but I did hear from our local ferret shelter (in Merrimack, NH) that
there is a possiblity of Mass. becoming Ferret Friendly as early as
January '94. It would make sense since alot of Carpet Sharks have
been sneaking across the border from NH to MA since NH became FF earlier
this year (or late last year?). I for one will be glad if/when they
(Mass powers that be) do smarten up and go FF so that we can take our
slinkies with us when we go out and not have to worry if we'll be
in Mass or pass thru and risk a run in with the law for carrying
"viscious varmints" over state lines!

On another note... A question to the more knowledgeable. Our babies
LOVE raisens, I mean stop dead in their tracks and follow you to the
end of the earth if you shake a box of raisens! Can too many raisens
be a problem? We usually give them a small (Sun-Maid) box every other
day, while they're out on "romp-time" ("romp-time" happens every day
but the raisens are given every other day...). We haven't seen any
problems but I just wanted to make sure. Thanx to the Ferret-List
I found out early on that we were overdoing Ferretone and have cut
back to the "prescribed dosage". Just wanted to make sure if there
might be any similar problems with raisens.

Thanx in advance!
