Mathew, I agree w/you wholeheartedly. The pet store defense of not being
able to launder a few t-shirts, towels, or sleepsacks a couple of times a
week just doesn't hold any weight for me. If pet stores were really
concerned about the welfare of the animals, someone in the store could
manage to carry home a little plastic grocery bag of laundry & throw it in
with their wash. Or they could have enough linens available to replace them
as needed & do a single load each week.
Better yet, It seems to me that pet stores would bring in far more $sales$
by actually using the sleep sacks & hammocks they promote rather than making
up excuses.
