Hi!! getting caught up on posts I have missed.......it's just way to hectic
around here with wedding stuff going on......in case anyone has noticed....

Well, I would like to include what I have found with liquor.....our ferrets
LOVE it!!! We have beer stains, Rum stains and Jack Daniel stains on our
carpets....the ferrets practically DIVE for the glass the moment they see
it!!!! With the beer though, they only like stout beers....very strange...
heheheh oh well.....they only get in a few licks and seem to be fine and
dandy......
With allergies, the only thing I have seen in ferrets is maybe some with
bedding...but there is a ferret at the shelter that is allergic to ferretone
and ferrevite. I am not sure of the ingredients that she is allergic to
that is in those products, but when she was given these things she
immediately threw it all up. Other foods seem to be fine....we are still
experimenting to see what else she is allergic to.

oh geez........no, its not an allergic reaction.....its the dust from the
cat litter...... Picture yourself stepping into an attic.....dust raises up
and you sneeze...heheheh BUT, however NON harmful it is to humans, its VERY
harmful to ferrets.....please please don't use regular cat litter.....use a
pelletized litter....(yes, some cat litters are pelletized.....Harmony for
one)
I have a ferret reference.....its really great PR for ferrets.....I was
reading this book called The Far Kingdoms (its Sci Fi Fantasy) and in it it
first mentioned ferrets because a small boy had gotten ill right after his
ferret died....his older brother was a magician and brought it back to life
and it helped the little boy recover because the ferret was good medicine.
It was told how the ferrets are lively and wonderful pets and the kid
carried him around in his pocket....throughout the book the kid talks about
stories about himself and his ferret.....its really neat. I also found
another book where the main character is a ferret....I don't remember the
name but I'll post it later. ALSO, I found a web site called
www.play4prizes that when you play one of its games (the crossword puzzle)
one of the answers is a ferret.....and to find the answer you can go to this
pet web site that is doing articles on exotic house pets this month......it
describes the pros, cons, and everything else about ferrets....it was an
overall good put together on ferrets.
I had a terrible thing happen this month......as you all might know, I am
getting married in 3 weeks and so am having a hectic time. Well, we just
got a new manager at our apartment complex and this new manager has declared
that ferrets are no longer aloud here. We were given a 10 day notice to
move or get rid of the ferrets!!!!! YA RIGHT!!!!!!! So, our 10 days were
up today and we are moving this weekend......however, the place we are going
doesn't allow pets either......well, my sister had a lease, and is moving
home so we are taking over her lease because the apartments she is in wont
let her out of her lease.......needless to say.....our kids are back at the
shelter for a few months till we find a house or something in the next few
months......*sigh*.....I miss them SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!!!!!!! Now, I
realize some of you are saying "well why didn't you just stay where you
were?" Well, the manager has now taken it upon herself to harass us
everyday.....she knocks on our door for anything and everything, and almost
got our car towed. We told her that if she towed the car she would be
paying for it to get out.....so far, it just got that stupid tow sticker and
no tow.....THEN, we had to sign this paper saying why we didn't give 30 day
notice and that we were vacating because of the ferrets, we went in to sign,
and she had put on there that we were leaving because we didn't pay rent!!!!
THE NERVE!!!! Well, we didn't sign it. We are now afraid that if we do the
move out she is going to go through and try and charge us for stuff that
doesn't exist or something......oh well, we will just take her to court if
she tries........GEEEEEEE JUST what I wanted to deal with 3 weeks before my
wedding....I did find out though that we are not the only tenets she is
harassing sooooo........I just don't know why people sometimes have these
awful attitudes that makes people want to strangle them. I guess maybe she
feels the world owes her something......I don't know........I just hope she
gets a better attitude soon......
Ummmm, well, I guess its back to planning the food for my wedding!!!! You
