I hope that someone out there will be able to help me....
I adopted Twiggy from a shelter that carried ECE.  I was informed by the
shelter mom that most likely my ferret at home would get ECE.  Sure enough,
Lola did.  Both ferrets are doing wonderful now with a few green slimey
stools every now and again.
 
I am going away at the end of August for 10 days and have the opportunity to
house my ferrets at a pet boarding facility specializing in ferrets.  It's
sounds wonderful!  However, I talked to the woman in charge and she informed
me that there is ECE going around.  Now, my question is: Will my ferrets get
a relapse?  Or, since they've had ECE already, will this not effect them?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks,
